Biography
I have been designing gardens for a number of years covering both small and large commissions. The service I provide is bespoke to each individual client. The designs that I produce are all hand drawn which I believe gives me a greater affinity with the finished design, I find that by hand colouring the planting areas it in itself enables me to visualise what plants and colour combinations would work in each situation. I create both formal and contemporary designs, adhering as much as possible to what the client desires and of course their budget. There are a number of options I offer so all budgets can be catered for.
The starting point could be an inexpensive report that will give ideas for perhaps a particular area, border or in fact the whole garden. This will include an extensive list of what plants would work in your garden.
A further option would be a hand drawn plan including a presentation book which contains all the information that will enable you to move forward with the project yourself.
However, depending upon the complexity, I can take on the full commission and manage the whole project, working with you all the way through the process not only producing plans, but sourcing plants and bringing in a work force to carry out both the hard landscaping and planting. At the end of the project you will receive a book I call the ‘Black Book’ consisting of between 30-40 pages which will again list all the plants that have been used, and their care going forward essentially a reference book. I also take photographs of before and after giving you a solid image of the changes to your garden.
